More trial and error

In the last month I have been on a whirlwind trying to figure out what is going on with my body. I have had some blood work done, but felt like the Dr. was basically apeasing me. The results came back that I was NOT PCOS yeah! but I am insulin resistant and my cholesterol is a little high. This Doctor basically said that my female problems where being caused by my weight issues. Kay?!?! So if I lose weight I will have periods again--hmm--the weightloss is part of the problem!! If I could get the weight off I would!!!

I also visited with the Dr.at the fribromyalgia clinic in Ft. Worth when my friend Sherlynn had an appointment there. I learned alot about the fine details of thyroid and hormone balance adn the importance of testing EVERYTHING to really get a true picture of what is going on. I am now working with a Chiropractor/Homeopthic Doctor to get some more blood work done. We will be testing human growth hormone, thyroid T3, T4, and reverse T3 to see how they working together. We will also be looking at candida growth in my body as well as some nutritional numbers in my results. I have also been told of a nurse practitioner here in Duncan that may be willing to work with me. I need to go pick up the patient application. Yes I have to fill out an application so she can decide if she wants to work with me--crazy huh? I will drop off my application with a caregiver application for her so I can decide if I want to be HER patient. I am afterall paying her for her services.

I am feeling hopeful that I will be getting some sort of answers this time around.
